I am a female Golden Retriever.  I was born in Jersey Village, Texas on the evening of October 27th, 2001 (while my owners Halloween Bash was going on). They picked me out of the litter on November 29, and brought me to my new home on December 15, 2001.

Life is great for me. I get so excited about everything. Some of the most exciting things for me are:

When the doorbell rings (even on TV)
When any human looks at me
When I hear someone call my name
When I hear a whistle
When I smell food
When I see another animal
When I get to go outside
When I get to come inside
When a leaf falls off a tree
When the wind blows something and it moves

Some of my favorite things to play with include:

My Rope Monkey
My tail
Opie, the cat
Carpets or rugs of any kind
Tennis balls
And my absolute favorite thing to play with is anything that I am not allowed to play with (especially if they are in high places, or hard to get - I like a challenge)

In my spare time, I like to eat, sleep, bark, dig up the back yard, play tug-of-war with my Rope Monkey, chase balls, jump on things, eat grass, poop, chew on carpet (and rugs) roll around on my back and chase the cat. When I catch the cat (and I usually do) it is fun to terrorize him. I don't hurt him, but I like to open my mouth as big as I can and see how much of the cat I can fit into my mouth. Even though the cat makes a lot of noise when I do this, it doesn't hurt him - it usually just leaves wet slobber marks all over his back. When I become a full-grown dog, my goal is to be able to fit his whole head in my mouth.

Tricks I have learned so far (check back soon, because Gary is going to help me put videos on the web of me doing some of my cool tricks). I know the voice commands for each of these, plus I know sign language for most of these (I really know some official ASL sign language!):

Other commands I understand (but don't always obey):

No Bite (I never really bite - just play puppy bites)
No Bark (sometimes I just get so excited I can't help myself)
No Cat (but he always provokes me first!)
Go For A Walk (That is my favorite)
And I know that when I hear the doorbell ring that means that somebody is here to visit me!

Today is March 10, 2010, and I am 436 weeks and 4 days old today! At the writing of this web page, I am currently working on a bunch more tricks and commands ... so check back soon!
